Mariana Acuña Acosta

Originally from Mexico City, Mariana’s been at home in Los Angeles for over a decade. A technologist, VR pioneer, veteran pixel pusher, Variety magazine top 10 innovator, a finalist on the Women Startup Challenge in AI, mentor for the Virtual Production Fellowships by Epic Games, software creative and entrepreneur. Before joining Technicolor Creative Studios as SVP of Global Virtual Production & On-Set Services, Mariana was Chief Product Officer at Glassbox, a Technology Lumiere Award winning company that develops tools for Virtual Production. Prior to her switch into tech, she worked as a VFX supervisor and senior compositor, and has over 13 years’ experience in the motion picture industry.
