Michael Stein

Michael is currently the CTO at Framestore, where he leads technology across feature film visual effects, advertising, immersive, location-based, and other forms of media and entertainment. Michael has worked in creative production for nearly 30 years for companies including Walt Disney Imagineering, Pixar Animation Studios, Electronic Arts, and MPC. Michael has worked throughout his career at the intersection of technology, creativity, and entertainment to bring new projects and technologies to life. Michael is a member of the Visual Effects Society, and has served as part of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Scientific and Technical Awards Committee since 2014.
